The League of Human Dignity is an organization dedicated to fighting for rights and quality of life for those with disabilities. They emphasize likeness, ability, normality, and integration. They believe everyone is equal and should be treated as such. The mission of the League of Human Dignity is to actively promote the full integration of individuals with disabilities into society.

They believe that society will benefit the most when individuals can contribute freely despite any disability. The long term goal of the League is to fully integrate those with disabilities into society so they can contribute to the community.

The League serves all of the counties in Nebraska and eight counties in Southwest Iowa with centers for independent living in Lincoln, Norfolk, Omaha, Council Bluffs, and Medicaid Waiver Offices in Kearney, North Platte and Scottsbluff.
