The Friendship Home helps support and offer services to women and children who are victims of domestic violence. They provide a range of services and help including safe, confidential shelter emergency and transitional shelter to rebuild lives from fear. They also offer a wide variety of intervention services, case management and emotional support to women and children in shelter and those who are waiting for shelter. They also provide support groups and emergency case management for individuals after they leave the shelter.

The Friendship Home stands on six values: Listening, empowerment, accountability, relationships, safety and confidentiality and collaboration. They utilize these everyday, working toward their goal for the day when the need for their services will cease to exist, and that domestic violence will not be tolerated by anyone in the community and that homes will be places of love, support and safety.
